Sandhöfer Allee
Frankfurt am Main, 2004 - 2005
Residential buildings
A 15-storey former nurses dormitory on Sandhöfer Allee in typical 1960’s architectural style was refurbished and transformed into a modern boarding house by schneider+schumacher Bau- und Projektmanagment GmbH.
The transformation made the building friendly and accessible. Gone is the plain skin with its solid balustrades, and in its place is a new facade in sophisticated colours. The new French balconies and loggias greatly increase the living quality of the newly created apartments.
