Cultural buildings
Palm trees and sea, yachts, exotic plants, a touch of sophistication, a certain glamour – and all this directly beside the River Main. Such delightful associations have to be conjured up by original means. The quest is for a distinctive shape that develops out of the logic of the status quo. To the south, the river flowing lazily by, horizontal. To the north, the skyline, high and defiant. The reclining ellipse facing the river and the standing ellipse facing the city combine to produce a structure, a futuristic object, which makes a lasting impression and conjures up multiple associations. Silver on the outside, polished stainless steel; inside, magic red, lined in velvet. By day and by night, seen from afar, a highly visible presence on the Main.
