Palm trees and sea, yachts, exotic plants, a touch of sophistication, a certain glamour – and all this directly beside the River Main. Such delightful associations have to be conjured up by original means. The quest is for a distinctive shape that develops out of the logic of the status quo. To the south, the river flowing lazily by, horizontal. To the north, the skyline, high and defiant.
