The site for the competition of the Spängler Bank, the oldest bank in Austria, is located in a heterogeneous urban quarter. The design envisages to complete the urban block and to enhance the quality of the block’s inner court yard. Aiming to create a dialogue between old and new, the design represents the amalgamation of tradition with modern times.
