Mannheim’s exemplary buildings

Within the walls of the second largest baroque castle in Europe, schneider+schumacher created the Mannheim Business School Study and Conference Centre. The project has now been awarded a prize: “Exemplary Building Mannheim 2013-2020”.

It was the aim of Baden-Württemberg’s Chamber of Architects together with the City of Mannheim to track down everyday examples of exemplary architectural projects, and then to honour those architects, landscape architects and interior designers, urban planners and building owners who jointly contributed to their realisation. From a total of 57 projects submitted, the jury presented 17 awards, including the Mannheim Business School Study and Conference Center. The award-winning works will be presented to the public in an exhibition, and the certificates will be handed over at the opening on October 19, 2020.
