Ceremony to mark start of construction work

At the end of August the inauguration of the construction site at Wiesbaden’s Reinhard Ernst Museum was marked with an official ceremony. Ernst, the client, invited guests from business, politics and culture to attend.
The Museum of Abstract Art is being built to the designs of the Japanese architects Maki and Associates. schneider+schumacher are responsible for overseeing the entire project.
Alongside Reinhard Ernst, other guests also said a few words to mark the occasion. These included the city’s Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende, Michael Schumacher and Michel van Ackere, the project manager of Maki and Associates (Photo: lower right).
