The city of the future

More than half of the world’s population lives in cities. According to the United Nations, by the year 2050, two thirds of the world’s population will be living in cities. But what exactly is the attraction of a city, and how has our vision of life in it changed? And what is the role of architecture in all this? Prof. Michael Schumacher will address these questions on 11 June in his lecture for the Club des Affaires de la Hesse, with examples of current projects.
