Topping-out ceremony in Vienna

This week, a topping-out ceremony was held to mark the completion of the shell construction at the Zögernitz Residence, for which schneider+schumacher Vienna won first prize in 2013. The client Hermann Rauter plus several staff from Strabag said a few words to mark the occasion.
The residential development has been sensitively integrated around a listed building, the old Zögernitz Casino. Following the laying of the foundation stone last autumn, the first major construction phase is now complete. The two residential buildings with around 50 apartments are due for completion in summer 2020.
