Ground-breaking ceremony in Mannheim

Last Friday marked the ground-breaking ceremony for the new Technical Town Hall (Technisches Rathaus), located in the so-called ‘Glücksteinquartier’ area of Mannheim. The team of planners from schneider+schumacher were delighted to witness that work has now finally started, instigating a project that has been on the drawing board for some time.

schneider+schumacher won first prize in this competition in 2016, and were subsequently commissioned to carry out work stages 1-4.
