Chinese New Year 2024

The Chinese New Year was celebrated in February. This year, the New Year is characterised by the dragon and it marks an exceptional year for schneider+schumacher’s offices in Tianjin and Shenzhen. Three high-rise buildings are due to be completed in Shenzhen this year: the world’s first high-rise data centre TCC (photo above); the 180-metre-high Zhaolian office tower (photo, right); and the Shenfang Park research building (photo, bottom right) with its striking roof terraces.
But that’s not all: the construction shell of the 135-metre-high twin towers in Chengdu is also due to be completed this year. In addition, construction work on a further three high-rise buildings designed by schneider+schumacher will start in Jinhua Green Valley. The tallest tower – 200 metres high – will house a hotel in the upper section and offices in the lower section, and will be flanked by two 100-metre-high office buildings.
