Sustainability Phase: an online seminar
Sustainable building is the topic of an after-work online seminar on 29 March at 18:00. Together with the Federal Chamber of Architects, the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) has launched “Sustainability Phase”. schneider+schumacher is also participating in this initiative which, with the help of the architectural community, aims to establish sustainable building issues as standard practice when planning buildings.
Holger Zimmer, Vice President of the Chamber of Architects and Town Planners of Hesse, and Andrea Gebhard, President of the Federal Chamber of Architects, will welcome the guests and introduce the topic. Dr. Christine Lemaitre, Executive Director of the German Sustainable Building Council, will present the aims and contents of the initiative in the online seminar. Anne Kettenburg of werkum architekten, and Astrid Wuttke, partner at schneider+schumacher, will then describe how the practical implementation of this concept can work. Among other topics, they will discuss the renovation of the Mathildenhöhe exhibition building.
