"Almost done"

On Tuesday May 3 at 19:30, Fotoclub Darmstadt e.V. is holding an event at the Literaturhaus Darmstadt. Entitled “Gleich ist es geschafft” (“Almost done”), photos taken by the photographer Ute Döring will illustrate the progress of construction work during the renovation of the Mathildenhöhe building.

schneider+schumacher, led by project architect Astrid Wuttke, have been responsible for renovating the Mathildenhöhe exhibition building. Project manager Katharina Specht, and head of building supervision Jörg Hillmann will report on how construction work has progressed and describe the specific challenges they faced on site. Further guests will be Prof. Ludger Hünnekens, Cultural Officer of the City of Darmstadt, and Dr. Philipp Gutbrod, Director of the Mathildenhöhe Institute. Admission is free.
